Half Height Containers

Our half heights are our most popular units for offshore construction project cargo. They have the advantage of retaining their ISO block configuration along with the pad eyes which allows them to be stacked on location with ISO locks making the best use of available project deck space.

All are CSC plated, which allow them to be stacked as regular cargo on a liner vessel. This dramatically reduces the trans ocean transportation cost of oilfield cargo between regions without  having to be shipped as out of gauge cargo in flat racks or break bulk like other DNV baskets. Project equipment can be shipped directly offshore without transfer of cargo contents.

 

 With the option of either forklift removable or swing doors on the different sizes, this allows for cargo to be easily loaded from the side. The door opening is wide enough to allow forklift carriage access. This means equipment can be placed on the floor of the half height without having to sling the load under the forks to get it to the floor. This is the case with baskets with no door access.
