Simmonds Equipment specializes in a range of equipment built to the offshore lifting standards of both DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855. 

All our rental fleet and everything we build structurally for offshore lifting has this as a minimum standard. 

Anything over 25Te gross weight has a requirement to be built to a different standard so we build this to DNV 2.7-3.

Any electrical or machinery requirements we can build additionally to DNV 2.7-2.

If you need something more specific to your application we are happy to provide custom build options.

The lifting  sets for all our new offshore equipment are now supplied with Flemish Splice slings as standard. Talurit is still an option if required.

All of our equipment is built to -20° C as standard but -40° C is available as an option for ultra-cold weather applications.

Units can be certified by either Lloyds Register or Det Norske Veritas.
