GLOBAL TRANSPORT & DEPLOYMENT

Transporting technical facilities efficiently is just as important as designing them.

Where practical, Simmonds Equipment engineers technical buildings within CSC-certified ISO transportable structures, allowing complete operational facilities to move efficiently through global shipping, road and rail networks using standard freight infrastructure.

Where projects require greater internal working height, we also engineer High Cube (9’6”) CSC-certified buildings, providing additional usable internal volume for control rooms, electrical buildings, laboratories and other technical facilities while retaining the commercial advantages of standard containerised transport.

Unlike conventional site-built or non-CSC modular buildings, transportable engineering cabins provide significant commercial advantages by reducing mobilisation costs, simplifying logistics and allowing valuable assets to be redeployed throughout their operational life.

Where offshore deployment is required, cabins can also be engineered to DNV 2.7-1 or DNV 2.7-3 standards with A60 passive fire protection and project-specific offshore certification.
